Australian Computer Society Professional Year Program (IT) – ACS PYPIT
ACS Professional Year Program (PYPIT) was developed by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and approved by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP), which grants 5 migration points to graduates upon successful completion of the PY course.
ACS PY is for international students who hold an Australian Bachelor or Master Degree in IT or IS as a result of a minimum of two years of study in Australia. It provides a pathway from university to professional employment in Australia, by developing the professional and practical skills required to work in the IT industry.
In addition to completing the Course Outline, ACS requires students studying the ACS PYPIT to complete an on-line Professional Environment Program while students are on their Internship. This program was developed by ACS and is managed by ACS.
