Professional Internship
Summary of ECA Internship Program
Participating in ECA Internship Program has unique advantages for you as the employer. Given the
requirements of changing employment needs and available labour sources, students can serve as a
valuable resource for organizations interested in effectively bridging the gap.
Supporting one of our Interns is a great way to:
- Develop educational and industry links with ECA.
- Access future international and local graduates of the highest calibre.
- Undertake projects that would not otherwise be completed due to limited human resources.
- Gain the specialized expertise of a motivated Intern that will positively contribute to the success of your organization at no cost to your company.
- Enrich your company in a cross cultural exchange of perspectives.
Benefits from an internal perspective within your organization:
- It provides an excellent means for employers to enhance their image and recruitment activities.
- Organizations have access to prospective employees and are given the opportunity to assess their technical competence to suit their needs for possible employment after graduation.
- Interns can provide professional or para-professional support on short or longer-term projects where it would not be advantageous for organisations to divert other internal employees from their business as usual responsibilities.
- ECA graduates are flexible and come highly qualified and prepared to cope with varied assignments and challenges.
- The success of an organization depends upon the people in it. ECA students are intelligent, highly motivated individuals. Through mutual commitment and joint achievement, the effort put in by the organization will be rewarded by positive benefits and be an investment for the future.
